Human pilot trials are in progress off-shore for the treatment of late stage 3 and stage 4 breast cancer patients, most of which who were not responding to other treatments.

To date, 26 patients have been treated in two separate trials with significant shrinkage and elimination of primary tumors and distant metastases (including lung, liver, bone and brain). Observed tumor responses, for patients that completed the full treatment regimen, indicate that small tumors (both primary and distant metastases) tend to disappear within 3-6 months, whereas larger tumors, including distant metastases, show significant shrinkage or elimination in 9-12 months.
